Geny's Cancer Treatment Fund

Very recently, a dear friend (Geny Warner) was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.   She is scheduled for surgery on July 11, 2018. 

Anyone who has faced any kind of cancer diagnosis (either personally or because of a loved one) knows the fear, anxiety, and overwhelming stress that comes with it.  The only thing that should be on this person's mind is beating the cancer and healing from it.  

However, in Geny's situation, she has been faced with an unexpected financial burden.  She needs to cover a $5,000.00 out-of-pocket insurance deductible in addition to any other co-payments for treatment not covered through her insurance.  She is a single working mom who will need to take close to a month off work to recover from surgery and start radiation treatment and will still need to cover all her living expenses in addition to her medical ones. 

Geny is not the type of person who would ask for help for herself given any situation so I am asking on her behalf.  She is a loving mom, great friend, and caring individual who finds herself in a challenging situation.
