Gene Owen Memorial Fund

This is David and Joey, Gene's sons.  We are overwhelmed with the amount of support and well-wishes we've received over the past 24 hours or so.  Our father was a kind man and judging by the stories we've received from children he coached in Little League, Drum Corps. members, coworkers and beyond, that he made an indelible impact on many lives.

A number of you have reached out in terms of helping donate for cremation costs.  We are more than gracious for any support you may give.  We set the amount to $1500, and that would help cover cremation costs and memorial materials (posters/food/etc).  We want to make sure we (David, Joey, Lucille, Heather, Quinn) can have an urn as well.  

We are working on a memorial service for Sunday, May 19th with details TBD.
