Gems Recovery Fund

On Wednesday March 8 we had to rush our sweet 5 month old chihuahua Gem to the Vet because we noticed she wasn't being her typical playful self. She wasn't eating, drinking and was throwing up. She had to be put on an IV right away and needed to stay overnight. We got a call the next day from the vet telling us that we could pick her up because there was nothing else they could do for her. So we immediately rushed over and when we picked her up she was unresponsive and seemed like her condition had worsened. Right away we rushed over to the Animal Hospital hopeful that they could help us in bringing our baby back to her normal self.

Today the hospital told us that she has symptoms that are consistent with Parvo and that she's gonna have to stay in the hospital a couple more days. Parvo is a contagious viral disease that severely attacks the intestinal tract while also attacking the white blood cells.

We are reaching out to friends and family to help with the financial burden. In just three days her Vet bills have already hit $3900. Anything is appreciated, We just want to bring our baby back home and healthy!
