Sean’s Medical Fund

Sean found a small knot in his leg back in March. When he was seen by his doctor he was told it’s probably nothing to be concerned about. About a month later he ended up in the ER due to it causing him pain. At that visit they did a cat scan and ultrasound but still weren’t sure what it was and decided to drain it. Upon draining it, then told Sean it was a deep hematoma. Within 3 months it grew even bigger and he ended up having surgery to have it removed. They sent it off for a biopsy and discovered Sean has soft tissue sarcoma. Since having surgery and then finding out he has cancer, he’s been out of work and hasn’t gotten a paycheck as his FMLA hasn’t kicked in yet. And needless to say he won’t be going back anytime soon. Between having a second surgery and several weeks of radiation he won’t be able to return mentally or physically. With no FMLA to help with everyday living expenses and not to mention the medical bills that are adding up, stress levels are high, which isn’t good for Sean or Allison who is dealing with a high risk pregnancy. She is a barber and is working on her days off on the side to help with bills. He has a 4 yr old and a baby on the way in October. Normally this isn’t something I would ask of anyone but its to help my son and his family. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
