Hi!
We are the Guerneville Community Church and we've got a big problem. We have this bridge that lets us onto our church grounds. You used to be able to drive over it. Unfortunately, it's aging and needs major repairs.
Apparently, the price of a small bridge over a seasonal creek has gone up over the past 50 years. We're going to need to raise quite a bit of money (We won't have a fixed price until the engineering is approved, but looks like it'll be over $100,000.) in order to fix our bridge.
The Community Church is host to many folks: The Russian River Empowerment Center - a drop-in safe space for folks wrestling with mental health issues; KGGV, our non-commercial local radio station; weekly AA meetings; a twice monthly food pantry; community events such as concerts and festivals. We even do church services.
The cost of repairing the bridge has taken us by surprise. County permits. Engineers. Supplies and labor.
The Community Church will be celebrating its 122nd year as a vital part of the Guerneville community at the end of April. Please help us to remain a community resource for another 122 years.

Any "extra" funds (Yeah, right--) raised by this campaign not used for the bridge will be used to help maintain our campus.
