Gary Burrafato lost wage fund
Donation protected
My name is Victoria Templer. A week ago tomorrow my brother in law Gary Burrafato, from Ronan Montana, suffered a fall while fighting the Rattlesnake fire in Hot Springs Mt. In the 17 years of fighting fires this will be his first debilitating injury. He was sent by ambulance to Kalispell emergency room under an assumption of a broken leg but after x-ray it was determined he tore a ligament and/or muscle and later released. On Friday he was seen by the orthopedic surgeon and next week he will undergo an MRI and soon after surgery. He and his family are like most and live paycheck to paycheck. Gary is an independent contractor and of course did not carry insurance like Aflak. The burden of paying his bills and caring for his wife and two children has already become an overwhelming stress factor when he is facing at least 2 months if not more of treatment and recovery. Gary started his own Company last year and it comes with all the bells and whistles of loan payments etc.. for his tools and work truck. To lose it all because he was fighting to protect our beautiful state from wild fire would be a travesty. Gary is ALWAYS helping his family and friends at the drop of a hat. His kind and giving nature has proven to be worth some karma back his way. Please share and try to help us raise the lost wages so he can focus all his energy on healing and not the worries of financial ruin. This goal amount is the equivalent of 2 months wages and will be used to pay his bills like Rent, insurances, utilities, food, and loan payments on his Company startup costs. He deserves to have a little pay it forward back his way. Angels Bless him and his family in this time of need.
