Garrison Murph turned 11 on May 9th 2019. He lived with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 1) last night he went into respiratory distress which lead to an emergency where he coded for 40 mins and was rushed to the nearest hospital. Hours into the following morning the Murph family had no choice but to let him be free. At 11:03am August 4th 2019 Garrison is Free of SMA, free of all the machines, and free to run from this world..
he leaves behind a broken hearted family that has to learn to cope without him. Mom, dad, his older sister and baby brother. Many friends and his nurse of 7 years who loved him so much.
Garrison is so loved and will be so greatly missed by so many.
Angela and Leon have been through so much in the last few months. They lost their 4th child when Angela was pregnant on June 1st.
My goal is to raise money that can be put toward the funeral, meals for the family, and funds for the family to have so they have time to grieve and not rush to back to work. Lastly, please keep them in your prayers they are an amazingly strong family.
