Gardening Therapy

At The Selena Center for Youth Potential in San Antonio staff is trying to help teen girls realize their potential along with different ways they can live happy and healthy lives without the use of drugs. Part of what we try to do is expose the girls to activities that they have never participated in before. Horticultural therapy, or gardening as therapy, is shown to have a ton of benefits and is something the girls here would really enjoy (even if it's in secret). Plus, our backyard could use a little sprucing up.

Please help out however you can by donating or sharing.

All we're looking for is being able to purchase some basic supplies to get a few raised bed gardens planted along with some pots and a nice seating area so we could have some groups and lessons outside.
