Aster

Aster is almost 4 months old. His lazy owner gave up on him because she couldn’t take care of him anymore. She never even took him to the vet. It just makes me mad because this could have been prevented if he was vaccinated.. Aster is so crazy and playful. I was only going to foster him, but I fell in love with him and decided to adopt him. He was supposed to get his second shots tomorrow, but he started throwing up and had no energy since last night. I got worried and took him to the vet and vets told me they think it’s leptospirosis that’s hurting him. His kidney and liver values are too high. They are going to do aggressive treatments on this small baby and I feel so terrible. My heart was breaking when the vets told me he might not make it. The vets are telling me they need to keep him hospitalized to constantly provide fluids and antibiotics which can cost more than $3500 according to my 24 hour vet. Just from today my regular vet charged me $1200 and 24 hour vet charged me $925. And it’s gonna keep increasing. I’m a college student, and I can pay $1000 right now and will pay whatever I need to but I would really love some help if that’s possible. I promised to protect and take care of him till the end when I adopted him and I don’t want to give up on him at all. So please help !
