Autistic Boy Needs Computer

This boy is a 12 year old with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and is really struggling! He is having trouble with approval for programs that help with getting a computer and programs that will aide in his schooling, he is from a low income struggling family, with a single mom, who just can’t afford it alone!

Now in Grade 7, his current educational/behavioral level is that of a grade 4 student. To keep up with school he needs a computer to help him with his reading, writting, English and French and other topics, especially when doing homework and communicating with teachers! His current hand me down computer is about 8 years old and is on its last legs! It’s barely working when turned on and cannot run many of the programs he needs to help with his education!

He has taken up Youtubing as a creative outlet. Which has taught him how to better communicate verbally and has seen him grow and enjoy himself more freely. His self esteem and confidence is soaring because of it! He relies on a computer and programs for this as well, and is completely self taught in editing and photoshop! He’s now become interested in sound and video editing as a future career!

When he reaches his goal he will be able to get a computer tower, monitor, keyboard, mouse, antivirus, Word program, video/sound editing program, scribing program, plus any other programs he will need and a warranty just in case!

Please help this guy out! Without donations his mom won’t be able to get him the computer he needs! Help him reach his goal so he can be prepared at school, get his work and lessons done without troubles and not be left behind by the educational system!
