Gallardo Family Home Goes Up in Flames

Donation protected
As if matters weren’t bad enough pending Lourdes’s 2nd breast cancer surgery scheduled for this week, the Gallardo Family home went up in flames Friday night. The home is a total loss.

This home was occupied by 3 siblings, Lourdes Arancibia (69), Monica Gallardo (62), Felipe Gallardo (64), and Lourdes’s son Fernando Rodriguez (49). This home has been in our family for 45 years and it’s where we shared and cherished many celebrations. This home was a way to get back on our feet and ALWAYS had its doors open. It has provided for all of us. It was our go to place.

We received the call Friday evening and quickly rushed to see the road closed and not being able to go inside the home because of the flames. Unfortunately, the home is also uninsured.

The family has lost everything. This horrible situation is putting more stress on our already sick family members. Our aunt Lourdes is suffering from breast cancer and is scheduled for her second surgery this week. Our uncle Felipe has many health problems including Thrombocytopenia (low platelets), strokes, and a brain mass.

We are asking for donations to help this family find housing, get property in order, and repair their lives. They were left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. We will update the progress our family makes from your donations.

Thank you you again for your kindness.
