Help Us Say Goodbye

A daughter is loved even before she is born, and she will always be loved by her family and friends, even after death.

With this week being her 7th birthday, the pain hurts even more, as she was so young. A little girl who would never experience so many things in this physical world. Only god knows why he took her so soon.

Below is Brooklynn's story.

Almost seven years ago to the day, a beautiful blue eyed little girl was born, Brooklynn Grace Nieves.   She was born on March 25th, 2010.  This Saturday would have been her seventh birthday.  Unfortunately, she will be celebrating her birthday in heaven in Gods arms instead of with her family.  Due to an unexpected brain aneurysm Brooklynn passed away on March 22nd, 2017.  Not only is this devastating to her parents but also to her three sisters, one brother, multiple cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great grandparents and friends that adored her.  It is a complete shock to everyone that got to experience her love and bright smile.  No one knew this would happen, there were no warning signs and nothing could have been done different.  The events from this week should have never happened.  Sunday night Brooklynn and her family enjoyed a fun filled event at Midlevel Times.  On the way home Brooklynn caught a glimpse of her birthday present and was overly excited for her birthday to come.  Everything was as it should be, she went to school on Monday as she always did.  She came home from school and played with her siblings, her partners in crime.  She took a bath late that evening.  Afterwards she started complaining of an excruciating headache and started vomiting.  Mom’s intuition took over and she knew something was wrong.  The parents rushed her to the closest hospital and within minutes of arriving she was airlifted to Mercy Rockford Memorial Hospital.  They there diagnosed her with a brain aneurysm that ruptured.  Emergency surgery was performed and the bleeding was stopped, but unfortunately due to her young age, amount of medication and stress on the heart, she couldn’t fight anymore.

No parent should bury their child. No parent can mentally or financially prepare for this. Thank you for all your prayers, love, and support, for not only Brooklynn but her grieving family.

We are asking for your help during this tragic and unexpected death.  Please help with whatever you can towards funeral cost. We will truly appreciate any size donation.

Thank you.
