Cub Scout Loses Mother
Donation protected
My name is Joshua Harville and I am a devout Den Leader for Pack 203 of The Boy Scouts of America in Bossier City, Louisiana. I've had the highest honor of representing, teaching, mentoring, and simply knowing eight remarkable young men and our future leaders of America for the last year. Today I was given the worst news that one of my Scouts has lost his mother in a horrific vehicle accident. Glenn Barnes (shown in photo) is currently awaiting news with his father at a local hospital about his 4 yr old brother who is being treated for injuries from the accident. Glenn's family is in the least fortunate financial position and it is my duty and my sincere commitment to do everything imaginable to place this family in a position that will ease them throughout this difficult transition. Glenn's mother has been passionate about his progression throughout his scouting experience and has contributed her time within leadership positions and it goes without saying that these Scouts need to know that we must always exhaust every effort in doing the greatest service to those who are in dire need of assistance. Some believe it takes a tragedy to expose a miracle, but I believe we can make a miracle to extinguish the hardships of a tragedy. Help us help this family.
