Al Clements Battle with ALS
Donation protected
Al was diagnosed with ALS in January 2015. The news was beyond devastating to say the least. Al has been married to Barb for 35 years; has two kids, Jared (30) and (me) Erica (32;) he has one Grandson, Leo and one on the way in February. I never for one minute thought he wouldn't be around to watch my kids grow up. My dad is the hardest working, strongest, most generous man that I know.
Al was born and raised in the Loves Park area, he operates his business here (Al's Carpet, Flooring & Design Center), and he loves his life. If you ever see him he is always smiling and has a cheesy joke to tell you. Al is a Harlem High School graduate and you can find him Friday nights cheering on his Huskies. He is also a great Phantom Regiment fan.
I will never forget sitting in the Dr's office at the University of Madison when she told us all it is ALS. We cried, and my dad said; "I am going to be the first person to ever beat ALS." I pray he is right. I admire his strength and determination. We should all be so strong. #clementstrong forever.
The money raised will be for his medical expenses & equipment he will be needing. We appreciate all of the support and wonderful words of encouragment we have recieved from friends, family and our community.
