Helping Jody

Jody is 37 years old and my common law husband.  On August 1st Jody experienced a mini heart attack. He is admitted to the hospital in Gander, NL and they will be keeping him in ICU until they take him to St. Johns, NL for more testing and procedures. He will be making this 4 to 5 hour trip to St. Johns and return in an ambulance.

I'm looking to raise money to help with all the financial hardship that this will incur during this journey. As of right now we still don't know how much longer he has to stay in the hospital.  Doctors say it could be a month before he even gets to go to St. Johns for further medical evaluation, but he has been put on the priority list.  Since he has been admitted, he has had 5 more episodes. He will have to be put on a special diet when he does finally get to come home.  We do not have any medical benefits to cover the ambulance fees or any other medical costs.  Once Jody is transported to St. Johns, I will be accompanying him which is more expense for us as a family.

If you choose to donate to help our family at this difficult time,  all funds will be used to help us with all medical costs and to allow me to be able to be by my spouse's side for support.
