Help us make Fort Wayne’s first annual Veg ‘n Brew Fest a reality
Who we are
A nonprofit Fort Wayne organization made up of caring, compassionate individuals who embrace the vegan lifestyle.
What we’re doing
Fort Wayne has been called the city of festivals, but there’s one festival that’s missing: One that introduces people to the numerous benefits of a vegan lifestyle. That’s why we’ve created the Fort Wayne Veg n’ Brew Festival , a free event which will take place at Headwaters Park.
Through speakers, food demonstrations, restaurant tastings, and vendors, we’ll show people that a plant-based diet is not only doable, it’s also delicious and healthy. Did you know, after all, that most of the chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease are preventable, and the standard American diet, which is heavy in animal products and low in plants, is often the leading cause of them? Yet a plant-based diet is the only one that’s been shown to prevent and reverse heart disease.
A vegan lifestyle is also one of the most compassionate things you can do for animals who suffer needlessly in our food system. You’ll even be aiding the environment, as numerous studies show that a plant-based diet is one of the best ways to combat climate change.
But did we mention that there will be fun involved, too? That’s where the “brew” part of our name comes in. And we don’t just mean coffee and kombucha, but beer, too! Local breweries will be serving up their suds, all to the beat of some of Fort Wayne’s best musicians. Kids are even welcome, as we’ll also have fun activities for them. And, it's all free to the public!

To raise awareness about how our food and lifestyle choices affect animals, the environment and ultimately, our health – and have fun while doing it!
