Birds of a Feather

My name is Jeff Grigsby and I am a very grateful, recovering Alcoholic and Drug addict. I've battled this horrible illness for over three decades and hurt everyone Ive ever loved in the process. I've been in numerous institutions throughout my life and learned alot of hard lessons to say the least.  I've lived in lovely homes and I've spent restless nights under bridges and overpasses. Two years ago February my way of life changed for the better when I agreed to travel south to the beautiful State of South Carolina to enter into a long term Drug and Alcohol Treatment facility. It was the first two,  long term, 12 step based programs I've been blessed to have been a part of since my coming here. I no longer live by my will.. My best thinking brought me here.  I fired "self" and today I live in "His" will. The good Lord has blessed me with an opportunity to help others who are still sick and suffering from the hopeless state of mind and body I once suffered from. I've recently been Given access to a large property here that is perfect for a sober living community and am currently taking the steps necessary to make that dream a reality. Rennovation is underway with hopes to have residents on site in a mere matter of weeks. Any donations made will go the aid of power and water hook ups as well as construction materials and furniture for the first few sets of rooms we plan to make available..
