Final Semester of College

My name is Mary Joy Tuquero and it's my final semester at the University of North Texas. At age 17, I experienced the most devastating moment that would change my life forever: my mother lost the battle to colon cancer after 6 months and my father had a sudden heart attack prior to my mother's passing. Being the youngest and having no financial assistance or emotional support from immediate family, I pushed myself to work hard and save up as much money as possible just to afford to live on my own while going to college. After discovering my passion and changing majors a few years later from Criminal Justice to Biochemistry, I have now exceeded my limit for financial assistance at school and am required to pay my tuition and fees for this semester. I have tried private loans but have sadly been denied due to financial circumstances. Please help me by funding to close this chapter of my life.
