Future Uplifters is neither an orphanage home nor an NGO, but rather an initiative set up by Mr. Emmanuel Boadi, who has developed to a really close friend during the passed years, to appeal for help for some needy kids in his local town called Busua, Western Region, Ghana.
To start their own small Micro-business they will need to know how to read, write and how to calculate. This basics they will learn in school, which in turn requires money.
The aim of Future Uplifters is to allow the local kids to go to school by paying their semi-annual tuition fee (10 EUR), learning materials e.g. books , pens and bags (8 EUR) and school uniforms (12 EUR).
For the upcoming semester funds of approx. 400 EUR will be needed for 12 to 13 kids to continue school. Whatever is left will be used for a semester party for the kids and saved for future fees.
