Funeral for Baby W

My name is Ashley and I work for a non-profit called The Cypress Initiative. We have a program that we bring to teens throughout Hillsborough county schools called S.P.A.R.K. Teen Mentoring.  A teen I was mentoring through our program lost her baby boy last week. She went into labor with him a few weeks early and had a c-section. The baby boy was immediatley taken to the NICU and died hours later after his lung collaped and filled with fluid. My student is now planning a funeral for her baby instead of holding him in her arms. Her family does not have enough money for this funeral and has reached out to our organization for help. All donations recieved will go straight to the family so they may cover the cost of the funeral. Any amount you are able to donate will help and is very much appreciated.

As I sat in the classroom last week, the day after this teen's baby had passed away, I had such a heavy heart. Her sister, who is also in our program, shared the details with our class and then talked about how worried she was about how her family would pay for the funeral. This family has so much they will need to deal with now and our organizaton, along with your help,  would love to take funeral expenses out of the list of things they need to do.
