Funeral of Sean Michael Bialas

Donation protected
Rest in Peace Sean Michael!

Sean Michael Bialas was only in the 6th day of his 21st year of life when on November 7, 2014 he was paralyzed while in the custody of the Kenosha County Sherriff’s department. It was there that Sean's life changed forever.

Sean would never be able to walk again, never able to care for himself. Sean would never able to experience walking down the aisle at his wedding. Sean would never experience the joy of playing with his children. All the things we take for granted were immediately taken away from Sean because of one fateful day while in the custody of the Kenosha County Sherriff’s Department. Sean suffered emotional, psychological, physical and financial hardships during his brief life.

But Sean continued to persevere in spite of all he suffered. After becoming a quadriplegic, 2 years, 3 months and 4 days later, Sean found himself in a position where he could not defend himself which cost him his life! While the circumstances are still being pieced together by detectives of the Kenosha County Police Department, what we do know is that Sean was shot point blank in the head. Unable to raise his arm, he had no chance to defend himself. Whether accidental or intentional, the final cause is irrelevant.

Sean's life was taken from him on February 11, 2017.

Sean leaves behind his older brother, younger sister and his loving Mother. Sean's family has been devastated! Sean's Mother Karen has spent the past 2 plus years caring for Sean with zero financial support from the city of Kenosha or the Kenosha County Sherriff’s Department. Sean's sister, while only a teenager, assisted her mother with Sean's care. The financial, burden of Sean's care was more than they could handle but they managed the best they could with some assistance from friends and family.

We remember Sean as a shy quiet boy who had his future taken away from him. All of the future memories for Sean's family and friends have been halted as of February 11, 2017. We will never see Sean grow old along side of us all. All we will be able to do from this day forward is look at old photographs and remember the smile on his face, and share the memories we hold so dear of a life taken much too soon.

His mother, who is disabled, does not have the financial resources to pay for Sean's funeral expenses.

Funeral arrangements are currently being made and it would be extremely beneficial to the family if donations are available within the next few weeks. In addition to any financial support you may be able to provide, we ask that you pray for Sean, his mother, sister and brother. God Bless!
