Funeral Expenses for Tre Rice-Mcfarland

On March 19th, 2019 our family suffered a horrible tragedy. Tre’veaughn “Tre” Rice-McFarland unexpectedly lost his life due to an unfortunate accident.  My name is Ceaira Rice, and Tre is my first born. Tre is a very bright child. He learned 5 languages, and was a very amazing artist. Tre was not only bright, but he was also kind and generous. Tre was the oldest of 9 siblings, 3 of which lived with him. Tre will be missed by all of us including his autistic younger brother who looked up to him. His brother said this of him “He was my best friend, and I already miss him so much. Tre was also close to his sisters and a true protector of them. Tre had BIG plans for his future; he was proud to learn to drive. He wanted to to move to japan to become an Anime Creator. Tre was so excited to start his life in Japan and wanted to bring his brother with him after he graduated high school.

Tre was discovered in his bedroom by his sister who quickly called 911, her second call was to me. I was at work at the time I got the phone call. This is the phone call I never imagined or could ever plan for. A mother should never have to bury her child. My first child always has a place in your heart. This tragedy has gravely effected our family, and anyone that he has come in contact with over his 15 years. Tre was not only loved by his family and friends, but his entire community.
