Funeral Expenses for our Christien
As many of you know , on Saturday, December 2, 2017, my sister received news no parent should ever have to. My nephew had passed away. This was a complete shock and terrible heartbreak. It’s with a broken heart I am reaching out to humbly ask for any help to cover the costs of his arrangements and take just a tiny bit of burden off of his parents shoulders.
No parent should have to do what his parents, Michael and Barbara inevitably have to face- which is having to lay their son to rest. Whatever you could donate will take just a bit of stress away. Funeral expenses are extremely high and as you can imagine there was no savings for this- because it’s just not what is supposed to happen.
Our Christien was a beautiful soul. He had a smile to light up the room and a sense of humor to make anyone laugh. He loved hard and wore his heart on his sleeve. He isn’t just leaving behind his Mom, Dad and brother and of course the rest of us, but he leaves behind his beautiful 2 year old daughter. Jade lives with my sister and is an adorable, fun loving, smart 2 year old. She’s too young to know what’s going on right now, but it doesn’t make our hearts break for her any less.
My nephew succumbed to his addiction. It wasn’t by choice, he was ill with this disease. If you know and love someone with an addiction you know the pain it causes everyone around them. He wanted to get better. He really did. He just wasn’t able to soon enough. There is no one to blame. He isn’t to blame, my sister, his dad, his brother, or his grandparents- none of them can place blame on themselves either. It’s a disease and it takes many away far too soon. This is our families story. It’s devastating. It’s unfortunate. And I pray none of you have to ever go through this. Once again if you could give even a small amount it would help Christien’s parents out. This small gesture could mean the world to them in this nightmare they are currently facing.
We love you Christien James Sinner, may your soul Rest In Peace.
