Nikki was a 17 year old student at North Lincoln High School in Denver, North Carolina. She was just five weeks from graduation.
On April 23, 2019 Nikki was killed in a horrible car accident. For her parents Bob and Sharon Kennett, Nikki was their world.
Everyone who knew the family, knew that they all had a special bond.
My daughter and I met Nikki and her family when they moved to North Carolina and came to board their horse, Bandit, at my farm, LaurelBrooke Farms. Nikki was a beautiful and spunky young teen.
Nikki had such a bright future that was cut tragically short and the world will sadly miss her. I couldn’t help but think today how much even her horse was going to miss seeing that sweet face.
This fundraiser is in memory of Nikki and in hopes of taking some of the pressure off of the family in the coming days and weeks ahead.
