Funeral Expenses for Adelita Salinas

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my beautiful mother, Adelita Salinas.
My mother was an incredible, hardworking, charismatic and selfless person. Anyone she interacted with would instantly fall in love with her great personality. She was a single mother who came from Mexico with only a second grade education but still always found a way to provide for our family. She taught me what hard work, discipline and respect looked like. I couldn’t have asked for a better mother.
In 2014 my mom was diagnosed with Kidney Failure and was immediately put on dialysis. I knew my mom could not do this alone so I moved back home (ATX to RGV) to care for her. At the beginning of this year we were super excited to find out that she would be receiving a new kidney after 6 years of dialysis treatment. This was her chance at a whole new life! A life we had been waiting for for so long.
Unfortunately, things didn’t turn out that way. In May she was diagnosed with cancer and just like with anything else we faced it head on and did chemo and radiation. We were both hopeful and always remained positive. This was until recently where unbeknownst to us, her cancer had spread to multiple parts of her body. There was nothing we could do anymore and after just 6 days in hospice she passed away.
Today I lost my mother, my father and my best friend! It is a pain unlike anything else I have ever experienced. However, I find comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain and will continue to take care of me from above.
I now ask for your prayers for God to keep me strong though this difficult time. I also humbly ask for your support to help me provide my mother the funeral service and burial she deserves. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be appreciated.
