In Loving Memory of Lilia Dimaano Padida
This Gofundme was set up for those whom would be so kind to help and donate to our family with some of the funeral expenses of my mother, Lilia Dimaano Padida.
She passed away on Thursday, November 15th 2018. She was diagnosed and has been battling Alzheimers for the past 8 years of her life.
My mom Lily was a kind and very caring person. This sweet woman was full of charisma and loved to interact with many people. She was one of those that always put others before herself, always helped family and friends in need. It was always important to her to put smiles on people’s faces and make sure everyone was in good spirits. She was always there to bring people together for gatherings, events and special moments. She loved to dance and was always the life of the party. Every time there was a dance floor, she would be the first one on the floor and would take people from the sides and pull them to the floor. Even having Alzheimer’s, when there would be an event at the care center she was still moving to the music that was playing and still tried to engage others to dance and enjoy life.
Our family is now grieving but at the same time, reflecting on the life she lived. We know she is loved and adored by so many people.
The purpose of this Gofundme page is more to help us with the financial part of her funeral arrangements. As everyone knows to live through a loved one’s passing brings on an emotional rollercoaster of pain and sadness. Added to this rollercoaster is the financial side of funeral arrangements. We would like to reach our goal of $10,000 however any donations would be of great help.
All we want is to provide a funeral service that my mom, Lily, deserves. Looking for help from family, friends and people that have gone through this type of distress. I know mom would proudly give a helping hand to those in need as well.
