Funeral Costs for Father of 3

I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season.

One of my family friends passed away around 2 AM on December 25th in a motor vehicle accident. He left behind 3 beautiful children - a girl & two boys, and his wife, mother and siblings. He was the breadwinner of the family. He sponsored his family very recently, and they are all still in the process of adjusting to the Canadian life.
Losing a father/brother/son is devastating in and of itself - and having to navigate a system you’re not used to at all just complicates matters even more. I spent some time with his children yesterday; his daughter was telling me about all of the stuff her dad got her just the day before. And now her father is not coming home. I saw his little wife holding onto her two little boys, crying because now the responsibility of raising three children falls on her. She has to provide for these children emotionally, physically, mentally & financially.
It will not be an easy transition at all. Covering the costs of the funeral may make it a bit easier on them. I don’t like asking people for things, but if you have a few dollars you can kindly donate towards his funeral, it would be greatly appreciated.
I kindly thank you sincerely for your consideration. If you are unable to donate, that is completely okay too but if you can, please keep him and his family in your prayers. And one more thing: PLEASE, please, please be kind to others. You never know when you will have your last encounter with an individual. Life is so, so short. If I have ever hurt you, please find it in your heart to forgive me.
