Funeral Costs for a USAF Veteran

On October 22nd, 2018 our father passed away due to terminal illness. He was 82 years old, was a loving husband, father and grandfather that worked hard his entire life to provide for his family. He and his wife were married for 33 yrs, he has 8 children and 6 grandchildren.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, his service was during the Korean War.  His passions were spending time with his children and talking about horses or ranching in general. His grandchildren all knew him as Papdad because he was like a second father to them all.  He would give anyone anything they needed if he could do it sometimes leaving himself with nothing.

 We are now left with his final wishes and laying him to rest. He was a wonderful man and at the end his medical problems just piled onto us leaving us to be unprepared to cover his funeral costs. He went peacefully in his sleep just as he always wanted and we want to lay him to rest in a dignified manner unfortunately we need help to do just that. anything will help us through this time of need and help him get his military honor he so deserves. We need to raise all the costs in a week. the funeral home has given us a week of holding him without the daily charge due to his service to our great country.  Any funds left over after covering his final resting will be put towards his medical bills and his grave marker and if there is any after that it will go to financial help of his widow and their young son.

I am his daughter and have been put in charge of running this campaign to help our family.  We hope you can help us even if its just a share every dollar adds up and gives him the farewell he deserves.
