The RCMP are currently investigating the death of Logan Curtis Ring (name released with permission of the family) from Swift Current. The death is currently being treated as a homicide at this time.
Swift Current and surrounding communities shocked by this. Not everyone knows that there is a little boy named Axel still waiting his dad to come home.... Axel has his mom who is 20 year old and works as " full time mommy". Family is getting lots support from friends at this time of mourning. However, one day Axel will have to start schooling, playing sports, going fishing...with no dad being around. All parents know how endless school supplies list is, how expensive hockey equipment is, and simply visiting McDonald's might be costly for a single mother... I grew up in boarding school in Belarus myself. 10 years in school without knowing who my parents were. I am great full to those who supported my childhood. Organizing this project for Axel is my way saying thank you to God who sent good people my way when I was a child. Thank you for reading.
