Help is needed for Dave Giordano, his wife and four children during a medical crisis
My name is Lisa Westhaver and Dave Giordano is my brother-in-law. He is married to my sister Monica. He just celebrated his 50th birthday on December 30, 2016. Support is needed for Dave, a former volunteer firefighter and his family. Dave grew up in Wanaque, N.J. and presently resides in Ringwood. He served as a volunteer firefighter for Wanaque for 25 years. His son, Nick has followed in his father's footsteps and is presently a lieutenant for the volunteer fire department in Wanaque. The family now needs your help.
Dave has been battling several health issues. He is a diabetic, had recently suffered a heart attack and has kidney disease requiring daily dialysis. To make matters worse, Dave was admitted to the hospital on Saturday, January 14, 2017 with pneumonia. On Sunday evening, he experienced a cardiac episode that left him in critical condition and in a coma. Unfortunately, when Dave doesn't work, he doesn't get paid. As you can imagine, as a result of his medical condition, he has missed a lot of work over the past year. His wife, Monica, has a job, but the number of hours she works is just short of full time. Therefore, she doesn't have any benefits and when she doesn't work, she doesn't get paid either. Needless to say, the family's financial situation at the present time is bleak.
Dave is a very kind and generous man who adores his family and has always been willing to help people whenever they needed it. It would be greatly appreciated if you can help Dave, his wife and four children during their time of need. Any donation is welcomed to help with medical and support expenses. If you cannot afford to give anything, please pass this along and share it with people you know. Prayers would be very helpful at this time also.
