Funds for Banjo Jimmy

Donation protected

On Monday, June 4, 2018, our beloved James Larue went home to be with the lord. Everyone that knew him knows that he was a devoted brother, uncle and friend. Not only was he special to his family, he was special to many that he encountered on his journey through life. He was known to many as “Banjo Jimmy”; he spent many years entertaining at Kitchen Kettle and enjoyed traveling with his band “Banjo Jimmy and The Red Rose Ramblers”. Jimmy had a fun loving personality and was never a stranger to anyone he met; he was truly an angel that walked amongst us.

Jimmy endured a long battle with congenital heart failure. Unfortunately his medical condition rendered him unable to work; as a result many bills have accrued.  Funds are limited and the family is asking for assistance from anyone who knew him or who has been touched by his artistry and talent.  Donations will go toward a proper funeral and burial for this great man.

We thank in advance for your continued prayers and thoughts and appreciate any help you can offer. We will provide information about funeral arrangements as it becomes available. We are grateful for all the love, prayers and thoughts thus far.

*****UPDATE:  The Family of James Larue ("Banjo Jimmy") would like to like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation toward friends and family who have encouraged and supported us through this difficult time.  We are ending the campaign as we have reached our goal.  Blessings to all.****
