Fundraising for 'Quartier Solidaire'

Hello! My name is Tom. I’m originally from Belfast, but have been living in France for the past few years. Living in Paris, I’ve been confronted with the increasing need for hospitality and a warm welcome for refugees fleeing famine, persecution, slavery and war.
This led to me volunteering with Quartier Solidaire, a non-profit group that provides breakfast for refugees in the 18th arrondissement in Paris. A cup of tea, something to eat, and the chance to speak with others may not seem a lot, but it facilitates a human interaction that is priceless.
This is where I am asking for your help. In February I am going to ride from Paris to London by bicycle, and I’m trying to raise some funds to help Quartier Solidaire continue to help those most in need.
For citizens of the EU, borders are seamless and fictional, but for those trying to migrate to safety or family, these boarders pose a real issue, and can prevent their own right to an easier life. This trip is trying to show to some extent how this isn’t a fair system, and those carrying their lives on their backs should be helped, not impeded.
Your donation will go towards buying supplies and resources for Quartier Solidaire, and to continue providing a safe place for these people to start their day. 100% of donations gained will be given to Quartier Solidaire.

Bonjour ! Je m’appelle Tom. Je suis orginaire de Belfast, mais j habite depuis plusieurs années à Paris. Vivant dans cette ville, je suis confronté au nombreux réfugiés qui viennent en France et qui cherchent de l aide fuyant famine, persėcution, esclavage et guerre.
Voyant au quotidien les difficultés de ces gens à Paris, j ai voulu m'engager et les aider. J ai découvert l'association Quartier Solidaire, une association non-lucrative situé dans le 18e arrondissement de Paris et qui a pour mission d'aider les migrants. Une tasse de thé chaud, quelque chose à manger pour le petit déjeuner et surtout des moments partagés, ça n’a l air de rien mais en fait c est une chose inestimable pour eux.
En Février, je vais faire Paris / Londres à vélo, et je cherche à recolter des dons pour cette associtation Quartier Solidaire afin qu’elle puisse continuer à aider tous ces gens victimes de circonstances épouvantables. La totalité de vos dons seront utilisės pour que Quartier Solidaire puisse continuer son action et améliorer d'avantage les conditions d'accueil de ces exilés.
