Let me tell you about my dad!!
His name is Manuel Rodrigo Quilli Mejia he is 59 years old, he is a hilarious guy and loves to make everyone happy, he likes to cook, and loves his family.
Unfortunately, on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, he was hit by a car, as a consequence, he broke his pelvis, and left leg. He arrived at the hospital conscious, but minutes after he arrived things turns terrible for him, he had internal bleeding which was the reason his body didn’t resist more. He passed away, and the doctors had to resurrect him, the doctors didn’t know where the bleeding was, so they had to take him in for an emergency cauterization of one of his arteries. He still intubated, and at the moment he depends on the ventilator, because of his critical condition he is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The orthopedic team tried fixing his pelvis, and the surgery was going to take 15 hours, but unfortunately, his lungs couldn’t make the 15 hours surgery, and the doctors had to stop after 5 hours only. Since then the ventilator has been in the highest level because he can't breathe by himself. He contracted pneumonia and has liquid on his lungs. My father the person that we all love still in critical condition, he has a long way to recover, we haven’t found justice for the person who struck my dad with his car, because of my father’s situation we have the necessity to open this gofundme account, it is for my dad’s medical and legal expenses. We ask for help from his family, friends, and people who my dad’s case touch their heart and are willing to help. All donations are much appreciated. Su nombre es Manuel Rodrigo Quilli Mejía, tiene 59 años, es un tipo divertido y le encanta hacer felices a todos, le gusta cocinar y ama a su familia.

Desafortunadamente, el martes 10 de julio de 2018, fue atropellado por un automóvil, como consecuencia, se rompió la pelvis y la pierna izquierda. Llegó consciente al hospital, pero minutos después de su llegada las cosas se volvieron terribles para él, tenía una hemorragia interna que era la razón por la que su cuerpo no resistía más. Falleció, y los doctores tuvieron que resucitarlo, los doctores no sabían dónde estaba la hemorragia, por lo que tuvieron que llevarlo a una cauterización de emergencia de una de sus arterias. Por el momento él está entubado y depende del respirador, debido a su condición crítica, se encuentra en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI). El equipo ortopédico trató de arreglar su pelvis, y la cirugía iba a tomar 15 horas, pero desafortunadamente, sus pulmones no pudieron hacer las 15 horas de cirugía, y los doctores tuvieron que parar después de 5 horas solamente. Desde entonces, el ventilador ha estado en el nivel más alto porque no puede respirar solo. Él contrajo neumonía y tiene líquido en sus pulmones.

 Mi padre, la persona que todos amamos aún en estado crítico, tiene un largo camino para recuperarse, no hemos encontrado justicia para la persona que golpeó a mi padre con su auto, debido a la situación de mi padre, tenemos la necesidad de abrir este la cuenta de gofundme, es para los gastos médicos y legales de mi padre.
