LITTLEZ MEDICAL FUND
I write this update with much pain…
As many of you know, I adopted Littlez from a local shelter and needless to say, she became a huge part of my life.
I recently found here after being attacked by a very large dog. She was torn open and her intestines were literally hanging out of her.
It seems after this vicious attack, she dragged herself from the neighbor’s yard to my porch and then laid out there in agony and shock until I found her.
She was rushed to Valley Oak Vet Clinic in Chico, where she underwent emergency surgery. She was scheduled to have another one, but her vital signs just never got to a point where the surgeons felt she would have a decent chance on even surviving it.
A decision had to be made and it was the most painful one I have made in a long time.
Littlez was put to rest in my arms as I rubbed the back of her head for the last time.
She was only a year and a half old and did not deserve to have this happen to her.
I feel empty inside and just can’t believe that this happened and although she is gone, she will never be forgotten.
Although the 2nd surgery never happened, the first surgery and the hospital stay added up to roughly $6000 and it’s something I could use some help with.
Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.
Bless the little kitties of the world and those that love them.
Any donations and support is appreciated.
