Hello, I'm Joshua Link, disabled US Army veteran and father of 6 children. I'm starting this company to help give back to those that have been there for me. I've been broke & I've been broken. I've had my ups and I've had my downs. I've been on the receiving end of quite a bit of help in my time and now I want to give back. This company will allow me to work with non-profit organizations such as Extra Life 4 Kids and StackUp to help raise money for children, who like my daughter require help from Children's Miracle Network hospitals all the way to helping veterans overcome PTSD and other disabilities.

At the core of Nexus Gaming , we are gamers. As such, we are dedicated to the growth and development of the gaming culture and community. We aim to accomplish this through open and inviting environments, free of judgment and prejudice; being as inclusive as we can be to any person, of any upbringing. Our intention being that all of us in esports are equal, thus bringing us together as a driven, passionate community to help the esports industry thrive.
Nexus Gaming  will continuously feature the newest games & friendly services as a way to inspire, promote, and further connect our community.

My wife, Jessica and I miss playing online games like we used to when we met in 2008. While getting to know each other we played an online game called World of Warcraft. We enjoy playing board games and card games with our children however, we miss the ability to play online games and we are not the only family that experiences issues with internet access or the financial burden of trying to accommodate our children with the latest game consoles or the newest computers.
We decided the best way to remedy this is to open our own gaming center. A gaming center will facilitate access to the latest games and systems with a low per-hour cost rate. In November 2017, Nexus Gaming  was born, a place where individuals with the same worldview can gather to enjoy the company of each other.

Much like Icarus refusing to listen to advice, warning of complacency and of hubris, we decided to start down the path of opening our game center. Using my 15 years of experience in the I.T. industry, I started to design an infrastructure to offer a previously unheard-of gaming experience. In little over a year, we procured, built, tested and configured all the equipment we needed to open our game center to the public.

Our principal mission when we began developing this plan was to offer inexpensive gaming experiences that provide quality entertainment to customers from all demographics in the area. And that is still our biggest mission today, because people like us do things like this .
A large portion of what we are planning to do revolves around a few non-profit companies that we've decided to partner with. Organizations like ExtraLife4kids  and StackUp among others will be a major part of our tournaments and other activities.
