Teddy is the newborn son of Max Ross and Sarah McKay. Born on February 18, 2017, in his first 24 hours, Teddy had a neonatal ischemic stroke which then led to multiple seizures and was immediately rushed to the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland, CA.
Beginning his young life strapped to an EEG machine and monitored while half of his body was immobile, he was put on anti-seizure medicine and fought back and is getting better. He has regained his motor senses on that side and has been seizure free for over 24 hours at the time of beginning this campaign and we're hopeful that Teddy will have a great recovery.
It's too early to say if he has sustained any permanent damage. We know there will be several extra medical expenses and we hope for the best. Please consider donating to this fund to help Max and Sarah pay for Teddy's medical bills. We will be so appreciative of anything you can give.
