A Hope and a Future

The thought of creating this account is nerve racking. I'm not a delinquent. Just looking for an alternative way to make some progress with my crippling student loan.
I have decided to create this gofund me account as my last hope to see if I can raise some or all of the amount I need to repay my student loan. Asking for help is one of the hardest things to do. But i'm hoping it will be worth it.
I was brought up with the ethos that education is key. Education is vital. Education is an investment. And so I embanked on pursuing a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology from th UK and a Masters degree in Marriage and family therapy from USA. Even though I graduated with a 2:1 class for my Bachelors degree and 3.9 GPA and three national honours awards for my Masters degree, unfortunately this has amount to nothing.
I always say hindsight is a beautiful thing. Looking back I would have made a different decision.
I had the previlege of being awarded a Graduate assistantship scholarship for one year because of my hardwork and academic achievement. This helped with my tuition fee and I am very grateful for it.
Every emotion seen in the video, i go through every day. I am currently working in a job that is not related to what I studied, simply because of the inflation and how bad unemployment had become five years ago and still is today, I was forced to accept any job to survive and pay my bills. This job was a blessing however, it pays just slightly above minimum wage. With £32,406 of student loan to repay it has been very hard. I have spent the last five years trying to keep on top of my monthly repayment, but because of the interest rates attached to these loans, the amount I have paid over the last five years ( almost £30,000) compared with what is outstanding doesnt feel like i've paid anything It's almost as though I am putting money in a bucket full of holes.
You see as an international student in the USA originally from the UK I had to get my student loan from a private banks, and with that came an increase in interest rate. The bank Salliemae, now Navient and Citiloan (now Discover) increase my interest rate almost every year.
I have struggled to pay this back, and as a new mum, earning just over the minimum wage, no mortgage, no credit cards, no other debt but my student loans, it is depressing knowing that as I approach my 33rd birthday with a good degree I have nothing to show for it.
I would really appreciate any form of assistance that I can put towards paying these student loans off completely or reducing the amount significantly. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
