FUN2GO Bike for Joshua
Donation protected
Joshua is 16 and will be a sophomore in high school this fall. He is enrolled in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program at his school due to being DeafPlus (Deaf and Down Syndrome). Everyone who meets Joshua ends up smiling. He lives in the moment and is very social.
While renting this bike, we were able to ride together around the neighborhood, get ice cream, and greet everyone we met. Joshua loved every minute. Having our own bike will allow him to experience more adventures together with family and friends in a safe way that provides direct eye contact and communication.
$1,250 has already been received toward the bike purchase. This campaign will help secure the remaining funds necessary to surprise Joshua with a his own bike to begin making new memories on new bike paths.
Thank you for considering a donation. I am sure Joshua would love to give you a tour of our neighborhood if you are in the area.
Any funds received over the campaign amount will be donated to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program at Joshua's school.
