Fun Tony's race to help end cancer

Hello, 
My name is Tony Felos. I'd like to give you a brief glimpse into my story. I was never very athletic growing up. I was more into music and was sure I was going to be a rock star. Well, that certainly didn't work out! Fast forward to my thirties, when I met some friends that got me into running and triathlon. I started doing many different types of races and found myself gravitating toward longer races. Over the years, I have completed many different distances (half Iron Man, Iron Man, Marathon, Ultra Marathon, etc). Five years ago, I had a pulmonary embolism which could have been fatal (but fortunately not). After that, I was not able to perform even close to the way I used to. In fact, when I got out of the hospital a 5-minute walk would wipe me out completely. I would have a long road to get back to where I was.

A year earlier, I lost my dad to cancer. Ever since then I've wanted to do something to help in the fight against cancer. So, my idea was - if I worked hard enough and got back to the point where I could qualify for the Boston Marathon again, that may inspire people to donate to the cause. Well, this week I finally qualified for Boston after 7 failed marathon attempts and 5 long years of training!

Most of us have people that have been affected by cancer. I do not want to leave anyone out, but would like to list a few that were close friends and family. I am going to make my donation in the names of the following people that we have lost:
