Someone recently said that in human & natural disasters the real work and the hardest struggle starts when the rescue teams leave, the media packs up and people forget.
My name is Aracely Cardona and I am a Mexican living in Los Angeles.
Living far away from home (Mexico) and by fate being on a visit this past September 19 makes me even more eager to extend a hand to those in need and use my voice and influence to generate awareness and help.
Dozens were killed in a powerful earthquake September 19th, 2017 that rocked Mexico City and surrounding states. Last time the news gave a number it was 280 but the number rises every day.
But Mexico City isn't the only one affected Puebla, Morelos and Oaxaca are also devastated. In Juchitlan Oaxaca it hasn't stopped shaking since and 8.1 earthquake on September 7.
Please donate whatever your heart feels and help us by sharing this with all your friends and love ones.
All donations will be destined to:
Fondo Binacional Indigena Oxaqueño
Fondo Semillas
Mexican Red Cross
With love,
