Fudge The Spaniel 630 mile walk
Donation protected
On 10 May Fudge and his 2 human companions will start out on the 630 mile South West Coast Path. The path will be walked in one go over 8 weeks and starts in Minehead, passing through Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, back into Devon and then to Dorset finishing at South Haven Point near Poole.
Fudge has completed 3 other Long Distance Paths but this will be by far the longest and most arduous he will do. Logistically, the organisation has been challenging but we are all ready to go now and really looking forward to it. Last year Fudge completed the Coast to Coast walk from one side of England to the other, raising £1500 for Spaniel Aid .
Spaniel Aid is a fantastic charity run completely by volunteers who own Spaniels themselves. They aim to advise owners of the dangers with advertising dogs on internet selling sites and to take into their care any dogs whose welfare concerns them. They have become increasingly concerned by the number of these wonderful dogs being offered for sale – or worse. Spaniel Aid place dogs into foster care and then assess them for rehoming to suitable “forever” homes thus giving many dogs a second chance. They need every penny they can get in order to provide this wonderful service.
Please consider sponsoring Fudge in his quest to help dogs less fortunate than he is – thank you.
