If you could review our list and choose the items to donated it would be appreciated. We have students donating their time using their talents, learning skills so when they graduate they will have learned a skill from Carpentry Technology which have been applied at the WJYAA Youth Building.
WJYAA plans using our new building for sports and educating our youth we will continue to have meetings and offer usage to the community. - The community will be able to use the building for their livelyhoods.
Leaving behind the history of Galbreath Hall, we are builidng on a NEW Legacy.
A London Ohio friend loaned us the money, the building is owened by the West Jefferson Youth Athletic Association, Inc. It is in the organization's name. Now we need your help to apply some tender loving care to give the kids and the community additional use out of this building.

Dear Friend of West Jefferson Youth Athletic Association,
I am writing you excited that we are now prepared to begin improvements on our new building just outside of West Jefferson Ohio, in Lafayette.
I encourage you to look at some of the images of our building on our website at wjyaa.org. Also on this website you will see the basic contours of our capital campaign, Building on the Legacy, for the NEW WJYAA Youth Recreation and Learning Hall.
The reason for this letter is to ask for your help in the Gifts-in Kind portion of our capital campaign. Our goal is to raise at least $175 thousand in Gifts-in-Kind of materials, volunteer labor for the construction and renovation project. Cash donations are also welcomed. New pledges for these gifts have already been promised. What we need you to do is to help us identify friends and acquaintances who may be involved with businesses that could donate or provide substantial discounts on building materials, equipment, and furnishings that go into the construction or renovation of a building which was a previous school house.
If materials are donated, we have a local school donating their time using their talents, learning skills so when they graduate they will have learned a skill from Carpentry Technology which have been applied at the WJYAA Youth Building. If possible you could also help us identify individuals or groups of people who could provide volunteer labor for the project on a short-term or long-term basis. Contractor Unions, General Contractors, Companies, Boy/Girl Scouts, 4H Clubs, Men’s Groups or Ladies Groups or Community Members wanting to help. Please take a few minutes and look at the attached list. If you know of anyone who might be interested in donating or discounting materials, equipment, or furnishings – or volunteering their labor over a short or long term – you may also contact me.
Please bear in mind that such gifts-in-kind or cash donations may offer huge tax incentives and write-offs to individuals and businesses. I am trusting that you know people who have a heart for our Community youth and youth in the surrounding area and wish to make a difference in not only for youth participating in sports other youth type events and activities in general who would be glad to assist in this project. Please send them our way, right, right now, PLEASE! Thank you for your support and prayers in this once-in-a-lifetime endeavor to rebuild a new WJYAA Youth Recreation and Learning Hall for our children.
Sincerely,
John Stanley, Jr
