Medical expenses

I am creating this fund for a dear friend and her son. Orion is four years old and one of the cutest little guys you have ever met! Unfortunately Orion got very sick a couple weeks ago and ended up being hospitalized at John Muir medical center in Walnut creek on November 21st. He has two spinal taps , blood work and brain scans, after all that he was diagnosed with meningitis, with paralsis in both arms! After a few days of lots of antibiotics and steroids, Orion wasn't getting better so he was transferred to the Stanford ICU , at that point he was then having breathing issues on top of everything else. The next day doctors discovered that Orion did not have meningitis , he has  Acute Flaccid Myelitis which is extremely rare! It's considered to be a new aged polio. It's so rare that there has not been a vaccination or cure made. Orion has been started on IVIG therapy in hopes to up his immune system. We are not sure if the paralysis will ever go away, and he has a very long road of recovery in front of him! His mother has not left his side through all of this, therefore she is missing work , along with the fact that she is almost 6 months pregnant has been very stressful along with the worries of the insane amount of medical bills that will need to be paid along with all his physical therapy he is going to need! Please help out in any way you can so that Orion can get all the help he needs!
