Hello Beautiful People.
Okay so, bare with me because i always have a hard time asking people for ANYTHING.
Okay so My name is Trivon, I am 23 years old and I am a first time mother to my now 2 year old son K. So back in 2015, my life and school situation changed. I am a student of Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville and I currently have about 32-36 credits left. The thing is, my school is still fairly “new” and i say this because i want you to understand the situation. I was living on campus and my water broke, ha cool right? So yes, i left campus 2 weeks before finals.... i had to take my finals online with my son nursing on my breasts. (Not important sorry)
Let me try to make this short, i tend to write A LOT because i like to write.
Long story short, I have not been able to actually take classes since fall 2015/spring 2016 because my school doesn’t offer the major classes i need online. I do not have my own vehicle so I can’t commute and I’m currently unemployed (babysitting here and there) so I also don’t have the funds for childcare if I had a way to school.
My goal is to use car services to get to school starting January 2018 and in order to do that, i need a few dollars lol. Really it’s close to $1,000+ But any amount will help me get that much closer. I’ve ran some numbers and lyft would cost about 60/day and zipcar could range from $16-80/day (i currently have MWF classes). I looked into public transportation but with my son, I don’t feel comfortable taking multiple stops and in total being on and off a bus for 2 1/2 hours.
I have saved some money to start his childcare expenses for the first month and plan to try and get assistance with that. I need to first figure out transportation.
