Heat it up and Keep it cool Robotics is a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team with a 6 year history, that aspires to promote STEM education in their community and beyond. The team has an active community outreach program where they strive to impact their community by mentoring Elementary School and Jr. High School robotics teams, also by hosting community events, and by competing in FIRST tournaments and by encompassing FIRST’s core values.
Each team member is highly active in community service logging 70 + hours individually as well as an active participant in the robotics program.
The team is fundraising to participate in the 2016-2017 Challenge and to participate in the Asia-Pacific Invitational Robotics Tournament in Syndey Australia in July of 2016.

Our mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
