Kristin and Adam Nori received news in June that they were expecting a child after three long years of trying. During a routine ultrasound an abnormality was found. After two fetal echos the Nori's were told that their baby girl will need to have surgery after birth to repair two of her heart valves. Kristin will be followed in Duluth monthly. She will deliver at Children's Hospital were the surgery will be performed. Kristin and Adam will likely live in Minneapolis for quite some time through this process. Kristin recently accepted a new position at work and will have very little paid time off, as will Adam. Let's help this wonderful family relieve some of the burden of medical costs, travel expenses, living expenses, and of course those daily bills that never stop.

Miss Harper is having a great day!! Here's the update from mom and dad:
Day 24

Harper celebrated St Patrick's Day with some green poo and getting a bow in her hair. She also lost her chest tubes and catheter.

At 1500, she gets a PICC line and loses the facial IV that is in her cheek. She might also lose an IV on her arm as well.

Fever is down and she's been cleared of the infection.

Her feeds are also up to 8 ml/HR which is great. The most she got up to before surgery was 12 ml/HR.

She is also being weened from her sedation and the O2 from the vent.

Today is a good day.

Sounds like Harper had a great day. She was awake, alert, and even gave mom and dad big smiles. She's peeing like a champ and will start feedings again. Thank you again for your continued love and support.
