Blankets for the Homeless

Every year the HNB Foundation - a (501(c)3 nonprofit entity - purchases Blankets and Care Packages for the thousands of Homeless and Destitute on the streets of Detroit and surrounding neighborhoods - with emphasis on our Military Veterans.
This project was previously financed by the founder and directors of the organization (Horatio & Natasha Bennett) - but because of the growing number of people in need, the Foundation is asking your help to purchase 500 Care Packages (blankets, toothpaste, soap & toothbrush) to distribute to those in need this Winter. The Foundation also supports local 'Care Venues,' such as Detroit Rescue Mission, COTS and Cass Community Services - to which excess Care Packages are donated...
