Freyas horses vet bill

We’re setting up a go fund me page to help support Freya McLaughlin our grandaughter aged 8.

She’s a keen horse rider and loves being around horses. We as a family have watched how freya has grown in character and confidence since falling in love with all things horse related. She loves to ride and is eager to learn and develop her skills.

She has been saving up along with her mum and the rest of the family to enable Freya to look at getting her own horse. She has lessons once a week and rides friends horses when there available but she really wanted her own to have the freedom to ride everyday.

So after raising the money and a tough six months In which Freya has had her ability’s tested in her pursuit to find the perfect horse for her ability and to grow with she found Romeo. 
He was the perfect pony for Freya, really patient, skills and calm perfect size for her to grow into and develop with along with her cousins. Freya finally found her dream pony and brought him to the Farm last Friday.

However things took a devistating turn when on Saturday Romeo became really seriously ill and almost died in front of freya despite a real team effort from friends, he was rushed to Leahurst Equine hospital but unfortunalty the team were unable to save him.

Freya and Family did all she could to try and save Romeo and give him the best chance. Unfortunately it was a condition no one could of predicted the previous owners or Freya when she purchased him just devastatingly unlucky.

Freya is really keen to continue to look for a new horse once she has gotten over her grief of loosing Romeo and wants to continue to learn more and improve in her riding ability a bit more first.

However financially the family are now in over £3300 debt to cover the cost of purchasing Romeo and for the brave decision they made to try and save his life.

Any support to help freya and her family bridge the gap financially that’s left over from owning Romeo for less than two days will go such a long way in helping Freya recover from her sudden loss and also begin to look at providing a future pony with lots of love care and attention from a horse mad little girl
