Freimuth Family Tragedy

Donation protected
On Saturday evening a fire broke out at the Freimuth residence in Mesa.  60-year-old Cindy Freimuth passed away in the fire.  She was home with family members who were there to support her as she was bedridden in hospice after three years of fighting cancer.  Don Freimuth says that he lost the love of his life in Cindy.  He described, “She couldn’t escape.  She was too weak, too ill to get out.  My sons tried to help her, but they couldn’t.  There was just too much fire and too much smoke.  And now she’s gone.”

One of those sons, Chris Freimuth, is a 17-year-old student at Pieceful Solutions School (PS Academy), a school for students with autism.  Unfortunately, Chris witnessed the awful scene that evening as he tried in vain to help his mom.  Now his family is currently homeless, taking refuge at a hotel as they try to decide what to do next.  The house is uninhabitable, and the family did not have renters’ insurance.

Please help us as we try to raise money for this family in this extremely difficult time.  No amount is too small.  Thank you.
