Free Pride 2019

Free Pride is an independent and community-led LGBTQ Pride event, with three core values: Pride should be radical, inclusive, and free. 

We are back for 2019, with a full day of stalls, talks, workshops, music, arts & crafts, and ideas sharing! By exploring a variety of topics, and building new ideas together, we hope to address the increasing commercialisation of Pride, and exclusion of marginalised groups within the LGBTQ community, looking at our history as we celebrate 50 years since the Stonewall Riots.

We are raising money to ensure Free Pride is as accessible and inclusive as possible.

Your money will be used to pay for:

-  BSL interpreters for all our talks
-  Our workshop facilitators and performers 
- A travel fund for those in the asylum system or with additional transport needs
- Noise cancelling headphones and fidget/stim toys for our quiet space
- Printing posters + flyers to share our event

We currently don't receive any funding and rely on donations to make Free Pride happen, so we are incredibly grateful for any donations we receive!
